German translation incomprehensible

In the German locale we have to deal with financial accountants, burdens, meeting minutes, and even scrambled eggs. And instead of having link-local addresses, we link the local addresses...

Has anyone maybe created a corrected German localisation of this? Or knows how to force English locale on a German computer? Thanks!

Maybe a "ghetto" workaround but you can take the files without a language code in the name (e.g. default.htm, index.html) which are the standard English versions and add "_de" to the name to replace the original German localization files.
