Location keeps working when hiding map

Hi :). I've noticed that the device still uses the location service even when I hide the map / exit the app.

I'm using Android API 23.

hi @ofirdagan, did you resolve it? I'm in the same situation, my map page is one of many; I want to disable/turn off the location when the page is not in use, any tips?

The connected issue is not helping (#27)!

Seems like this project is dying but also true on ios. Seems I missed this issue when I wrote mine up. https://github.com/EddyVerbruggen/nativescript-mapbox/issues/312
