Failing Odoov16 installation on Ubuntu 22 installed from Ubuntu ISO
I'm used to install Odoo without any problem since a while with your script on AWS EC2 Ubuntu image (amazon/ubuntu/images/hvm-ssd/ubuntu-jammy-22.04-amd64-server-20221201).
Since I'm trying todo that on Ubuntu (exactly same version, installed from the Ubuntu ISO on VM (vmware), Odoo fails to start. The Odoo status is runnning, however not reachable. When using curl, it says: Conection refused. Also the Odoo log file is non existing ... but I guess this is due Odoo is actually maybe not running and generating any log.
Are there dependencies that need to be installed on Ubuntu prior to start the Odoo install script?
Were you able to find a solution? I'm stuck here at the moment and I need to deliver to a client this morning
@vanbernaert and @topeshittu It seems that Yenthe's script fails due to PEP 668 ("externally-managed environment") policy change in Ubuntu. I've encountered the same issue and am currently working on a fix.
I had the same issue, I made a virtual environment and re installed the python dependencies in it, and updated the init.d script to use it and it worked nicely
