My feature request

Summary:

Please consider unlocking the SharePlay feature in YTLitePlus. This functionality is currently locked behind YouTube Premium but appears to be fully implemented within the app and likely gated by a subscription check. Enabling it could significantly enhance the user experience with minimal technical overhead.

📌 Feature Description

SharePlay is an iOS feature that allows users to watch content together in real time during a FaceTime call. When enabled, all participants in the call can view and control playback of the same video

In the official YouTube app, SharePlay is only available to YouTube Premium subscribers. However, the infrastructure for SharePlay seems to be natively integrated into the app. It is likely that the feature is simply behind a flag or entitlement check, rather than requiring external dependencies or complex modifications.

Please unlock SharePlay in YTLitePlus, removing the Premium-only restriction.

SharePlay allows people to enjoy videos together even when apart.

Since the feature already exists in the YouTube app, enabling it in YTLitePlus is likely a low-effort change.

YTLitePlus already enhances YouTube by removing restrictions and adding features. Unlocking SharePlay fits well with this philosophy.

This feature would make a real difference for users who enjoy watching content with others, and will probably result in more people using YTLitePlus (to watch videos together). If technically feasible, unlocking SharePlay could be one of the most meaningful improvements to YTLitePlus.
