Can yacreader generated cover image with better quality?

Generated cover image quality is bad, especially with red color :

Resolution is not the only factor that affects the quality of the image, jpg compression has a huge impact in the overall quality. The weight of those images is kept low to improve performance.

I think that migrating to other image formats, webp can help to improve image quality, but I need to look into it and see the implications it will have across the apps (including the iOS app).

You right Mr Luis, im using photoshop setting with jpg image quality 10 and format option progressive, get file size about 130 KB vs 54 Kb (Yacreader Windows). But, does the size difference above really affect performance sir? in my cover folder with 336 files the sizes is about 58 MB (edited) vs 23 MB (original).

Btw on the ipad, the cover image quality generate by yacreader ios app are so gorgeous. Even when i screen mirror to TV the cover image quality is still good.
