Create a proper interface for toolbar hiding

Toolbar hiding by shortcut is confusing, not easily found by new users (see #104) and it is possible to lock yourself out of the toolbar by pressing the button by accident. This bug is a reminder for me or @luisangelsm that we should fix this.
