Compatability Request: niri
Honeslty, this is more of a question rather than a request. Is niri (also has a well-maintained community flake that tries to make configuration as painless as possible (niri is configured through kdl)) on your radar for making the app compatible with? If no, would you consider it? If yes, are you waiting for it to become more stable perhaps (although I've been using it for some months now, and it honesly feels more stable than Hyprland, apart from typical nvidia wayland visual artifacts that appear from time to time on external monitors and no native xwayland support)?
If you don't want to bother implementing support for it, would you be willing to accept a PR potentially in the future, if I (depends on my schedule in the nearest future) or someone else does it?
Wow, alright, first off, I am very sorry for missing this. I have apparently not setup notifications for the org.
But about your question, the base should work on niri as well, as it it's not dependent on it, if you are asking about the plugins, the wlroots protocol is implemented for the monitor plugin, and should hence work. But I am happy to fix any open issues with this. I mean to be honest, the Bluetooth and Wifi sections need some serious work, something that I have been pushing away lately. I hope to get back to this after Christmas (aka when I am done with the small game for friends and family)
-> perhaps even rewrite parts of it with iced? Would love to at least :D
As for PRs, yes this project is very much open for it. And I will also activate notifications so I don't miss them.
