Making music with quantum machine learning

The pitch

Use quantum machine learning tools to generate, classify, rank, or recommend music. This could involve elements of:

• finding a method to encode musical sequences into quantum circuits (quantum circuits look a lot like sheet music! :smile:)
• working out a way to interpret the output of a quantum circuit musically
• using QML and optimization tools to tune towards more aesthetically pleasing music

What will you make?

Possible deliverables could be:

• a musical piece/recording
• a musical score (sheet music)
• a musical recommendation system
