Are there plans to support the recently released Universal Windows 10 version of VLC?

As the author states on Readme that he develops mostly/only on Linux, very unlikely. Others, like me, might be able to test/dev on Windows but only use Windows 7. If you are a Windows 10 User and know about the universal windows 10 version and its capabilities, feel free to test it :)

Like @step21 said, I can't really support VLC versions I'm not able to use. However, if there is changes in the way VLC work in that Universal Windows 10 version, anybody is welcome to propose pull requests in that direction or to provide a thorough report of what's different from the previous versions in order for me to try and patch that.

VLC for windows store doesn't have the Remote control interface implemented so there wouldn't be any way to make this work at this time.

Still no evolution on that side ?

Should be solved by TraktForVLC 2.x - #88 But only if it's possible to load Lua modules. Will probably need someone with that setup to try and report once TraktForVLC 2.x is released!
