Firefox txt broken semi fix?

Open GoroFourArms opened this issue 5 months ago • 5 comments

I use to be able to open txt files in firefox and be able to use foxreplace but one of the recent firefox updates broke it. I noticed that when I open the inspector the html all the text is under the pre tag and when I change pre to p in the inspector everything works again.

I don't know if this is helpful at all since I am an amateur but I thought it would bring up to someone who might know better. So they can make a more permanent fix.

Not sure what the actual problem is, but for simple substitutions it should work both with <p> and <pre>.

I don't know either cause since the last firefox update it broke foxreplace but now its working. So i guess this is closed. On a side note can you put a way to test and find rules cause i have hard time trying to find the one rule that is the exception when i screw up.

I don't know what changed but it's not working again. This is so frustrating.

Let me clarity the sidebar works fine but the automatic load or manual load doesn't work.

It should be the same both ways because the code is the same. Can you find a simple and minimal way to reproduce it always?
