chore: Convert Side Panel to a Compound Component

🚀 Feature Proposal

Let's convert SidePanel to use our model paradigm and hooks.

Motivation

The Side Panel in main is outdated and maintaining two Side Panel components is confusing for Canvas users.

  • address the animation API since IE11 is no longer supported
