iOS Implementation - find a way to allow dynamic update of files after initial deployment

The first time the app is deployed, the template "Res" folder is copied over to the working directory for the app. It is from this directory that the game runs against. However, due to iOS security, you cannot copy files to the device once it has been deployed manually. This has to be done from within the application. With the current architecture, the image files must be stored with the app before deployment in order for you to make use of them. iOS file security does not allow you to access the device directly.

The only solution is to add to the game a mechanism to download the images to the application and save them to the appropriate directory under the "Res/" folder of the Documents folder.

enabled file sharing for iOS app. Still need to extend app to unzip any zip files appropriately.

Not sure if this is still applicable, but I think we should basically allows loading file from a cloud drive.

rudimentary support is complete for local storage. users have to use iTunes to transfer zipped up resources to the application. To enable update from a cloud drive we need to either use iCloud, for which iOS has native support, or pick a few different 3rd party vendors (msft, google, etc) or both. if we use what is native for the mobile device, iCloud for iOS, GoogleDrive for Android, we would be better to write an interface for either platform to implement. Also if somebody can also enumerate the files other than the data under the player directory that needs to be part of the backup.
