The windows subsystem for android can't run because critical files are missing from the installation folder

am on 22h2 windows 11 with windows insider program active and I tried reinstalling a fresh version of was twice to know if I missed a step please help

Same thing here with ./apply.sh: line 31: echo: write error: No space left on device, it just hangs on the load screen when opening files (no other installed apps) but no error message 22H2 build 22621.1105

Same. It looks like MS changed the WSA package and the guide is pretty out of date.

I found out how to fix this. All the files that in guide is .img must have .vhdx extension. Now everything is working!
