How to get the project templates?
Figure 1. I can't find these templates in my Create New Project dialog box.
Figure 2. Searching my Create New Project dialog box on the text (Community) yields nothing.
I'd like to follow the tutorial that is in the article that is referenced above.
But, when I pop open my copy of VS 2019 Enterprise and click File, New Project, the new-project templates that are shown in the walkthrough, namely those that are circled in Figure 1 above, do not show up in the Create New Project dialog box.
Where do I go to download those?
You know, not to overly criticize, but I've been doing how-to article writing for the past 24 years. And when I need my readers to access a resource or open a template or something that does not natively ship with the software on their computer, I tell them where they can download it.
I suggest you update the tutorial to explain to newbies where they can go to get the stuff.

@ErikEJ I think this reply was uncalled for and I take it as harassment. You don't have to treat me as if I am an idiot.
Not everyone starts from the beginning. I tend to be very focused and laser beam in my search of reference material. Typically, in tutorials there is a step-navigation menu to direct people to the other steps in the series.
I am sorry. Was just trying to be helpful.
There is also this sentence in the tutorial itself:
"Before you start writing your first Visual Studio extension (it's easy, I promise!), make sure you've got the tools needed."
I suggest, perhaps, a little sidebar at the top of each page, linking to the GitHub for the toolkit -- or to the section in "Getting Started" (i.e., the specific mid-page anchor) where it goes over obtaining the tooling. Of course, people can obtain the extension(s) from there.
