• Needs to work with hoppers
• Add to per-world configuration
• Item blacklist (or some way to configure what items it effects)
• Ability to configure max stack size (if max item stack size is '2' then it will only merge 2 drops together. A value of 2 would mean that 2 64x emeralds would be able to get merged together and at the same time 2 16x eggs would be able to get merged together.)

Perhaps it would allow multiple types of items per drop entity, and would appear as a chest. It would only allow a certain amount of types and sizes though.

Yea, that could be a good thing to add as well, as long as we can configure a whitelist/blacklist of what can actually be stacked into chests.
