Plugin installation instruction for OSX needs correcting
The installation instruction page hasn't been updated yet for OSX. http://vowl.visualdataweb.org/protegevowl.html
It needs to read: "(Mac users copy the file to Protégé.app/Contents/Java/plugins.)"
not "(Mac users copy the file to Protégé.app/Contents/Plugins.)"
thanks
Still not fixed!
Thanks for pointing it out @andrewpstern! :)
Still not fixed in the tutorial. Thanks @andrewpstern, Protégé.app/Contents/Java/plugins works!
I'm on Protege 5.5 on macOS and added the VOWL plugin jar to the Contents/Java/plugins folder and am not seeing the VOWL plugin anywhere in the tabs menu. What can I do to troubleshoot?

When the VOWL Plugin is mising within the tab menu (not liked described here: http://vowl.visualdataweb.org/protegevowl/activateVOWLplugin.png) there are two things you can verify:
- did you used the right folder? Maybe the required folder was changed by Apple? Do you have the Protege Plugins within the same folder? If not you can search for the default plugins like 'owldoc-3.0.3.jar'. You should use the same folder where they are placed
- Can you please check the protege log during starting time? Is there any issue?
