How to set prediction in format latex rather than md

I have on question about prediction format. For my case, the prediction is in md format by default, how to set the prediction in latex format? Usually, it does not matter, however, in some cases, the grammar is different. For example, in md format, italic font is surrounded by _, in latex, surrounded by \emph{}.
