Make the VictoriaMetrics Gateway (vmgateway) deployable with vmoperator

In our scenario we deploy all components with the vmoperator. There are some VM components which are not deployable with the vmoperator, which complicates the deployment. One of these components is the vmgateway. Please make it deployable through VM operator.

currently we're going to merge vmgateway into vmauth enterprise and deprecated vmgateway in near future.

Operator will gain support for vmauth enterprise features with it.

For now, it's better to use helm chart with vmgateway https://github.com/VictoriaMetrics/helm-charts/tree/master/charts/victoria-metrics-gateway

Hi Nikolay, Thank you for this input. This is interesting. How will vmauth enterprise differ from vmauth oss? Will it just incorporate the vmgateway functionality? Would be great to have some information, as we plan to implement VictoriaMetrics very soon. KR, Patrick
