Sound card not producing sound

Hi, I've been trying the sound card using this guide, but it does not produce any sound. I'm using 1.6.6 computronics and 1.7.5.1290 opencomputers on Minecraft 1.7.10. Is this guide outdated, does it not work in 1.7.10 or is there another problem?

This version of the guide is the most up-to-date. It should work on 1.7.10 too. If there is another problem, I would need more details.

I tested it in sp using the example code from the guide, but no dice. I can try and see if it's a compatibility issue with one of the other mods I'm running. Are there any know incompatibilities?
