Character keeps getting deleted

I've been using FF for about 3 years now without any problems, but recently I decided to create a draugr companion ("I herd u liked Draugrs" - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60647/) by making the character and then putting them in the Shrine. For some reason, every time I do this it tells me that I am missing character data for them. I've been looking the issue up as best I can but nothing seems to be helping--everything's up to date, and the character is still showing up in my vMYC folder. However, I cannot access them in the Character Setup tab in MCM (they won't even show up). They do show up in the Shrine of Heroes tab, but when I try to summon them it's a 50-50 shot on whether it actually summons them or they get erased from the menu and shrine entirely. I had been using the follower for a few days, but several times in the past day, when I load a save, they disappear after a few seconds or the game CTDs.

Tried reinstalling everything, but no success. Is the race just not compatible with the mod yet? This follower seems to be the only one the mod doesn't like. Thanks
