IVRVirtualDisplay interface example for linux?

I known this repository states it's Windows only, but I'm not sure where to ask for a Linux example of IVRVirtualDisplay, so I'm asking here!

OpenVR has a driver sample in it that builds in Linux just fine, but it doesn't implement an IVRVirtualDisplay interface.

So, a simple IVRVirtualDisplay example would go a long way!
