[CS 1.6 Suggestion] Enable ZBots
As the title says, please enable the bots for CS 1.6, but WITHOUT the other CZ features like hostage AI, etc... Bots are essential for testing, and many more. Please consider this suggestion. Thank you in advance.
That guy was asking for Hostages AI too, and many other. My request features only the bots. Wouldn't mind the other menu options too, though.

@Egon-Spengler again, I'm asking about the bots. I don't want either the tutor messages or the hostages AI. The bots are already in the mp.dll, only that they are disabled. I think it's not much to ask to have something essential that any FPS must have.
@di57inct I'm not saying I'm against it, not at all. I simply remembered that issue, which asked for something similar (a CZ featured enabled for CS) and thought it could probably hint at what the feeling about adding CZ features to CS is.
The bots were originally in the 1.6 Beta in early 2003, but soon they moved them to CZ. Offline practice would be nice against them in 1.6, but more online servers with bots easily enabled would make things worse imo. there are a lot of cool alternatives at bots-united.com
@dagla & @konschta that would be up to the server adminstrator's decision. If players wouldn't like it, he could easily disable them.
@di57inct But if I connect to a server it's not because I want to play against bots. And if every server shows me it has 14 players, because it's filled up with bots, it's much harder to find a good one.
Lots of games from Valve have bots and most of the servers don't have bots at all, I don't see why it can become a problem for CS 1.6 servers, servers administrators are free to add bots or not. Also, bots have the tag "BOT" on the scoreboard, you can recognize them easily.
@awedsa Well that is true, but I personally don't even want to join such a server. And there is no possibility to filter them out.

EDIT: Just to explain. After checking the "Bots" option, any server that has bots present on it will show you that icon in front of it.
@konschta I understand, but this would be really useful for players that just started playing the game, or for those that want to do offline practice and also for people that want to play CS 1.6 and have a bad internet connection. If Valve can't add a way to filter them out, another way to avoid servers filled up with bots would be to make the ability to add bots ONLY for listen servers (NOT dedicated servers!).
Bots are part of the reason they made CZ. Why would someone buy CZ if they were given all of CZ in a predecessor?
@MrSchism CZ has so many other features that CS doesn't have. A FPS missing bots is just a bad idea.
i think its a good idea to add cz bots to cs1.6 since it has no downsides for anyone playing cs 1.6 and it reduces the need for people to download cz just to play with bots if that's what they want, since if you want to get bots in cs 1.6 atm you need to go to some shady 3rd party websites that offer installer packages that might have a risk of installing a trojan.
It's HL25 era and we need this... This game no longer have the player base it used to!
@kisak-valve could this ever be approved or is there no chance for it? if not, is it because of legal issues?
