Mouse Drag does not work under Gamescope

Mouse dragging - holding left click and moving the mouse - doesn't seem to work under gamescope. I've seen this issue with Xournalpp (started with gamescope -W 3840 -H 2160 -f -- env GDK_BACKEND=x11 xournalpp) and We Were Here, started similarly. I tested these on KDE plasma 6.1.0. For Xournalpp, starting it with gamescope -W 3840 -H 2160 -f --force-grab-cursor -- env GDK_BACKEND=x11 xournalpp instead does allow for dragging to work however. I haven't tested setting this option with We Were Here.
