Do you see any errors if you launch the game from a terminal? ex steamapps/common/Half-Life Alyx/game/hlvr.sh" -vr -steam -noasserts -nopassiveasserts +map startup -vulkan I had to symlink libtcmalloc_minimal.so.0 and libmpg123.so.0 to my local /usr/lib versions for it to start with working sound. Also had some weird bug where it failed to start and that was fixed by enabling steam cloud, starting game, turning it off again.

I cannot get it to launch, I symlinked libtcmalloc_minimal.so.0 and libmpg123.so.0 without any success. I get no errors either if I launch via hlvr.sh.
