Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
Describe what you expected should happen and what did happen.
The video does not run after the latest updates. Also, the community video does not run.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Do you mean you can't play video from the video store, or the promotional videos from the games? Video's from the video store can't be played for a while now (it's a bug in steam client, I was too lazy to report), but promotional videos should work. Ah, I can indeed also acknowledge that community video also doesn't work. It ends up in the overscan selection on big picture, it works in desktop mode also on steamos (if you "hack it" to run desktop mode with a plain wm, without the steam compositor).

I mean videos from the video store and the video community.
Thanks! Ok, these are 2 different bugs though, and they are steam client bugs. @kisak-valve : can you move this to steam client, or should I create two bugs? Bug 1 is: community videos end up in overscan selection instead of playing the community video. This is a big picture only issue, the desktop opens a new window and plays fine. But steamos means big picture only (unless you do some fiddling which can not be done by an average user).
Bug 2 is: videos from the (video) store can't be played. It seems the player app just crashes. This is in big picture as well as in desktop. This is an older bug though, but I am kinda lazy to report things. Sorry :-(. I assume the video player thing might be due to switching to handlers (proton, msdos, nothing) for products. Might be that the video player needs proper handler properties to handle video products.
Also on a side note: Big Picture has the old store with videos and all. The new store has videos hidden.
