Lenovo Legion Go S Z2Go 32GB Windows with installed SteamOS, Betterlife touchpad not working

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Touchpad is not registering any activity within STEAM OS gaming mode, in Steam desktop it works everywhere but again not in the steam app, when in Bios and Windows it works as expected. The device has the Betterlife touchpad version, Lenovo Legion Go S Z2Go 32GB Windows version which I've installed the SteamOS. Furthermore I used the potential solution to install firmware found here https://iknow.lenovo.com.cn/detail/428102 which I did succesfuly using a Windows Hiren PE USB. The solution doesn't work although on the issue tracker #1968 it is mentioned as close.

Describe what you expected should happen and what did happen. Touchpad to perform mouse movements, or generally interact with system and within games.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Have a Lenovo Legion Go S 32gb Windows with Betterlife touchpad
2. Install a fresh SteamOS
3. let the system update to the latest 3.7.15 version
4. Within Settings check if controller accepts any commands on touchpad

To add to libbin-256 comment, in Bazzite the trackpad works everywhere, both desktop and Steam game mode.

My trackpad is so jittery. It only works in desktop mode and at this point it is unusable. Please release a fix for it
