[TF2] Feature Request: 'Surrender' vote option in Competitive Mode
Hi! I was wondering if there was any chance that a 'Surrender' vote option could be added to TF2's Competitive mode. Bad actors can currently stall the game infinitely in some modes (CTF), and players have no options to deal with it aside from abandoning the match and taking a matchmaking ban.
Similar to CS:GO, this should just trigger a win for the enemy team if the vote is passed.
ctf is hardly the only mode for stalling. there can be bad actors on both sides, on a gamemode like 5cp, and they can trade points infinitely, stalling the game until the heat death of the universe...
in such a case, you really need to be able to abandon after a reasonable amount of time has passed, because a surrender vote won't go through even if there was one.
