[TF2] [Feature Request] Rebalance the Enforcer

The Enforcer is not a very popular weapon for a few reasons. First, the bonus isn't very good, and there are other guns to choose from. Second, the "pierces damage resistances" thing doesn't work for most resistances (it works on a few, such as the vaccinator, but not on most others).

My suggestion is to rebalance the enforcer so that it's useful. The goal of this proposed rebalanced is to accomplish the following objectives:

  • Make the Enforcer a viable weapon that is not entirely inferior to the other options.
  • Make the Enforcer have notable upsides and downsides versus the stock revolver without making it overpowered.

The new stats:

+30% damage -50% time to decloak Damage pierces all damage resistance effects (including Uber) -20 max HP -2 clip size -50% reload speed This weapon deploys and holsters 50% slower

In order to balance the generally increased damage, the clip size is reduced, and the reload speed is also reduced. This makes the weapon better for shorter fights but inferior for longer ones, as once your smaller clip runs out you have both a slower reload speed and weapon switch.

The weapon also reduces your time to decloak, which would make it easier to get picks on a paranoid target, but makes it easier to die if you're caught as you have 20 less hp.

Finally, to make Spy less useless in competitive format, the Enforcer's damage pierce should work on Ubercharges.

I would like to add that a enforcer rebalance could be much more simple. The biggest issue with the current Enforcer is the 20% damage on disguise is neither good nor bad but, the gun has no clear niche and gets overshadowed by other revolvers.

The biggest changes I'd like to see is:

  • The 20% damage on disguise to be changed to a flat 25% damage increase to buildings
  • And for the gun to be able to pierce the 33% sapper armor (optional)

This would give the weapon an identity, making better at preforming "stab n' saps" while also being able to destroy wrangled mini sentries in two shots at any range, due to dealing doing exactly 50 damage per shot. This further reinforces Spy's job as an anti-Engineer class due to him being able to finish off the sentry after a sap, without having to coordinate with a demo or soldier to make a push.
