BUG - New accounts in all my ancient games with sub 1k games

Open Chud-Hunter opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

Description

New accounts in my ranked games, smurfing and creating new accounts is a rampant issue, people are ban evading using fresh accounts and carrying on with their griefing. At the only ranks I play are between archon and ancient and at ancient there are frequently accounts with less than 1000 games which to be ancient after that is a smurf or a new acccount and in either situation the game quality will be heavily impacted by their misbehaviour or their abilities as a player. I am begging you to deal with this issue in anyway, could you not even create a feature that I can enable to only allow accounts that are obviously not brand new?

  1. A harder to get around pathway into ranked matchmaking than 100 hours and a phone number.
  2. A way to limit the accepted accounts into my games to increase the rank accuracy, remove the new accounts and only have players queued with accounts with a statistically likely game quantity for their rank. (2k games for ancient Idk you have the stats I don't)
  3. RETROACTIVELY BAN smurf accounts rather than let the continue to exist as thousands of accounts are readily available.
  4. Literally just google dota 2 accounts and start targeting the websites and accounts that are obviously for sale.

please for the love of god fix these issues as this is plaguing the quality of games for everyone, the lower ranks more so than the higher.

Example Match ID (and possibly Timestamp)

This github is for bugs, why your trying to make it harder for the coding team?. Please consider closing this issue.

This repo is for bugs. Stop abusing it with petty complaints like this. This is why we can't have nice things.
