ALT + ` (grave accent / backtick) keybinding does not work
Description
When a hotkey is bound to ALT + `, pressing ALT + ` does not do anything.
(The game will let you bind this key combination, and the in-game UI will display the binding as well; just pressing the keybind produces no action)
My suspicion is this maybe has something to do with ` having been the default console hotkey?
Strange. My friend also has this issue, so it's probably not due to something unique with my machine. Hearing that others don't have this issue gives me hope that this is resolvable though!
I've just tried deleting the cfg folder to no success, and am now going to try a fresh install of Dota. If anyone else has this issue or has any suggestions for narrowing down the cause of the bug, please let me know!

I tried a fresh install of Dota, with a brand new Steam account, and the problem is still there. I also tried rebinding ALT with the Alt Modifier keybind (I used J); J + ` interestingly then did work.
I am on Windows 10, default QWERTY US English keyboard layout. @NMOTH @edwinvanolst may I ask what OS and keyboard layout you use?

DotaPlus Overwolf app developer here - this is the default keybinding that toggles my app in/out of view. I'd wager this is the case.
You can change DotaPlus' hotkey to something else and then use the hotkey for Dota 2, or just uninstall my app if you're no longer using it and forgot about it.

I've never used Overwolf, and I've made sure that it's not caused by the interference of another program. Unfortunately this isn't it ☹️

Huh. Really interesting then. I was sure it's Overwolf - way too specific 😅
It's not just the alt key. The grave key doesn't work with Ctrl as well. Example: put a control group on grave and assign a couple of units to it by pressing Ctrl+grave. The unit's don't get assigned to the grave control group. That key doesn't seem to work well with modifiers.

That isn't working for me. I've tried with and without that setting on. I press ALT + ` in game, nothing happens. I press it while editing my hotkeys, it sets the hotkey. So Dota is clearly able to detect the keypress but only when editing hotkeys and not while playing the game.
