Saving files is taking too long, 3-10sec

I used bisect to go through all plugins and vim was the culprit. If vim plugin is disabled everything works as expected. Files that are open are not that big, usually less than 200 lines. In this case it was .astro files but same happens with php, js, ts, or plain html. With Vim plugin enabed, it takes about 3 to 10 sec to before vs code becomes responsive again.
