How to contribute?
Hello, I have just found this amazing project and I would like to know how to contribute, as well as which tasks are being done and which ones are left, in order to organize my contribution a little bit 😃
Hi there, thanks for your interest! I haven't had the chance to set up a project board, a PR template, issue template or contribution guidelines yet, and it hasn't been a priority since I've just been developing this on my own free time. I'm also considering moving this project into it's own GitHub org. I'll try to do these things at some point. At the moment, most of my focus is on adding full Via (V3) and Vial support, and cleaning up some of the public API. After that, some other major tasks (in no particular order) include testing power usage, re-working the storage feature (it uses a bit of memory and flash space, so I want to move away from tickv), encoder support, RP2040 support, more drivers (for backlighting, underglow, and split keyboard communication), and improving documentation. More specific to-do items can also be found in the docs, under a "To-do List" section for each feature.
Anyways, I'm glad to see that there is interest in this project, and I'd be happy to see other people help out. If you have any suggestions for organizing contributions, feel free to share!
