Thickness of panels

Open Batfather opened this issue 10 years ago • 1 comments

Good day!

I want to clarify what is the thickness of panels. As I see right panel has 5mm thickness, and left is 6mm. Is it right?

Some questions more: Alu/PE/Alu - is it an aluminium composite? If yes, can I use 4mm panels and not 6mm, like in drawing? Will the quality be damaged cause of this?

Thanks

Hey,

I'm not sure what went wrong with the panels. All panels are 6 mm. Some are of perspex (sides). The rest is of a dibond sandwitch material with ALU: 0.3mm (x2) and PE: 5.4mm

I wouldn't try with 4mm panels: you need to find other bearings, other electronics etc and it will be a lot less rigid.

Kind regard,
