Reading current Scopus CSV format?

Open larsgrobe opened this issue 8 months ago • 0 comments

Dear authors & users of this module,

I am struggling with getting CSV files from Scopus search loaded by RecordCollection(), that throws an exception metaknowledge.mkExceptions.BadInputFile: 'scopus.csv' does not match any known file type. Its header might be damaged or it could have been modified by another program.

I am able to load my "own" csv-files, that, e.g., have the column names not quoted. That works for now, but for unknown reasons I get an empty abstract column when applying the forNLP() function.

There apparently have also been changes in the Scopus format, e.g., replacing comma and semicolon in the authors column, so I wonder what version is reflected by metaknowledge.

Did anyone test the Scopus-parser recently?

Best, Lars.
