Hi, @fgem80 !

Can you provide more info on how exactly (command line arguments) do you launch the game ?

Can't say anything about that without command-line. from "No such file or directory" it look like you have typo in executable name or something similar...

I edited the Gothic2Notr.sh file, in the end: ... exec "$DIR/Gothic2Notr" "$@" -g "~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Gothic II" fi the structure is right.

Can confirm SIGKILL at start with this build on Ubuntu. Is there any workaround except building locally?

I can confirm this behavior with Ubuntu 22.04 on the current master:

Local build

Commit: e20c8b50

Started the executable 10 times successfully.

$ ./build/opengothic/Gothic2Notr.sh -g ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Gothic\ II/
OpenGothic v1.0 dev
GPU = AMD Radeon Graphics (RADV RENOIR)
Depth format = Depth32F Shadow format = Depth16

CI artifact

Build: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/Try/opengothic/builds/50100442/job/np1vjby4vpxvyq75/artifacts Commit: e20c8b50

First try after a reboot works. Second try yields "killed".

$ ./Gothic2Notr.sh -g ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Gothic\ II/
OpenGothic v
GPU = AMD Radeon Graphics (RADV RENOIR)
Depth format = Depth32F Shadow format = Depth16
Getötet

Troubleshooting

Trying to find out where the SIGKILL comes from:

  • dmesg shows no related output
  • journalctl -b -n 30 shows no related output

Unfortunately I don't know where else to look.
