Clustered Resource Summary in Map View around Planets, etc
Idea is to display Resource windows with pointers - like the part windows when in map view. This way you could see where resources may be in proximity to the camera focus

Had a look and once vessels are outside the games load distance (approx 2km) the resources values are not active in memory. There may be a way to read from the persistent file, but leaving this for a rainy day at the moment
