Indicate Stops That Aren't Always Part of a Route

Open vkoves opened this issue 8 years ago • 2 comments

Certain stops, especially on bus lines, only hit certain stops at certain times. For the sake of simplicity the app should indicate that these stops are not always hit on a route.

This means we need to improve route generation to pick up on more stops than just the last one, but moving over to using transitland might help in this regard

A local example of this would be the Purple line, which only hits certain stops during the AM/PM rush hour.

A design is needed here to figure out the somewhat complicated UX of showing what might be pretty detailed info for a stop.

@vkoves I don't know if this is a design issue so much as it is a logic issue when pulling GTFS data at certain times of the day. The dropdown menu should allow the user to select from a comprehensive list of stops.
