Spacing between items has increased

I just allowed an update of the app (now version 1.5) and the spacing between items seems to have dramatically increased. This makes my use of the app (a grocery list) more inconvenient because it used to fit almost entirely in one screen and now it fills two screens. Is there some way to control the spacing? Thank you. (I tried a few list-taking apps before settling on this one and I'm quite happy with it.)

Hello Robert,

Thank you for the feedback and suggestions. My plan is to add a settings screen with a number of options, including an option for spacing.
