Problem with instalation.

Hi, I have problem to install latest ver. 2.1.3

I tried to install this addon in two ver. of Blender

Blender 4.3.2 Blender 4.5.3

For both version I get error messages.

For Blender 4.3.2 ERROR

Blender 4.5.3 ERROR

I noticed that addon ver. 2.1.3 was updated for Blender 4.2.0

"version": (2, 1, 3),
"blender": (4, 2, 0),

But ver. 2.1.2, is installing just fine, and it is for Blender 2.83

"version": (2, 1, 2),
"blender": (2, 83, 0),

What is very strange that previous ver. 2.1.3 was made for Blender 3.2.0 And was installing just fine.

"version": (2, 1, 3),
"blender": (3, 2, 0),

To summarize, today I noticed that you have updated something, I wanted to install latest updated ver. and I can't do it. Thank you for help.

I found something... So I'm using portable ver. of Blender. I deleted portable folder and I created a new one, and the add-on installed just fine. So I think that when you uninstall addon it's not enough. Some files are stored in another location, and this is why it can't be installed again.

Can you tell me please where is the location with the rest of the files please? :) Thank you.

Hi, version at releases is outdated for a long time. Try to download as zip file from GitHub (green button) and install it. Do not forget to remove main or master from downloaded zip file name before installing.

Hi Titus!

I just found a solution!

So when you had installed IOPS previously it will make a folder with your preferences with this file inside >>> "iops_prefs_user"

Location >>> portable\scripts\presets\IOPS

The preferences file is not deleted while you are uninstalling the addon.

When you are trying to install new ver. Addon refuse to do it because of the "iops_prefs_user" file.

I just deleted this file, and latest ver. made with (green button) installed just fine :)
