Bug: Options are not saved in Tiddlywiki Classic
The options (NickName, AutoSave, SaveBackups, etc.) are not saved in Tiddlywiki classic after closing. Each time the wiki file is opened they need to be set afresh. I am using the Mac version on MacOS High Sierra 10.13.2.
Thanks @babaks77 I'll investigate.
Hi, can confirm using classic on Ubuntu 18.04. A small but annoying thing.
Thanks for developing TiddlyDesktop though - very useful overall.
Hi @babaks77 @wwood please see this comment -- it turns out that this is a restriction in Chromium. I've not found a workaround yet, but as the comment notes there is one further approach that may be worth exploring.
I've ultimately switched to TW5 because of this, but thanks anyway.
Jeremy,
Thanks for the update. I have been using an older version of TiddlyDesktop to solve this problem and it seems this works. I appreciate all of your ongoing work. TW is a major part of my productivity and work cycle.
Cheers, Babak
