For anyone else having a similar issue, Word has to be set as your default application for .doc and .docx files. I had mine set to Wordpad. Hope that helps! @ValentinKhmer would it be possible to fix this behavior? I'd like to be able to default to Wordpad or another program.

Hello, Which version of Word do you have installed ? File Converter is only compatible with Office 2013 and later.
