NFSC AND NFSMW Skipping Cut scenes even though it's 0 in the ini setting

I am on windows 10 and it seems that every cut scene is skipped whenever I'm using the Widescreen Fix

I believe something similar happened when someone used a non english version of the game. Try to disable WriteSettingsToFile option, because it defaults to english.

Interesting, I have the european (german) versions of those games, but ok, that option is disabled too, as it is by default.

Seeing the same with the german version of the game. WriteSettingsToFile is set to 0.

EDIT: False alert. The problem with my game was fixed by setting the following string value through regedit. Cutscenes are now played as expected.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\EA GAMES\Need for Speed Most Wanted] "Language"="German"
