[feature] Another License?
Can we get a license which allows for commercial use without the requirement of release of the source code.
Hi @xzores, I'd also like to change the license, but unfortunately, that's not just up to me, but also to the previous contributors. Legally speaking, the code they contributed is GPL, and I can't relicense these portions of code without their permission.
In issue #84, I'm trying to reach out to the previous contributors and get their opinions on the matter, but unfortunately, not everyone has responded yet, which prevents me from changing the license.
If they don't want their code relicensed to a more permissive license, I respect that and won't judge them.
An alternative would be to delete the code of the contributors who haven't yet given their approval and rewrite my own versions of their code, but I don't have time for that, and I would be extremely biased when trying to reimplement these deleted features.
