Describe the bug Cura appimage starting after each login despite it not running during logout.

Expected behavior It should not start automatically on login

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: click cura .appimage choose to integrate it double check that it's not running in the background before logout (sudo ps -A) reboot/ re log

Tried to: I added appimagekit_e2c5a07a925e9668276f846fb5d64def-cura(as I see the process name in ps) to "Applications to be excluded from sessions" - in Settings-> session management, but it makes no difference. I also checked "autostart" section there - no entries about cura

Can you reproduce the issue on other systems (for example, a VM)? I'll be testing this in a few minutes.

You can also contact Kubuntu resp. KDE about the problem. This doesn't look like an issue with AppImageLauncher, but with KDE Plasma at a first glance.

I cannot reproduce the behavior in a virtual machine. This must be an issue in KDE/Kubuntu. Please contact the Kubuntu maintainers or KDE developers.

Already did, covering my bases - thanks for investigating...

I did not expect that - cura starts even if [Start with an empty session] is set in system settings

I've had similar issues with Xfce before with apps not installed as AppImage, too. That's why I was pretty sure that it's not an issue with AppImages per se. We need to escalate this to the KDE folks. If you have any links, please post them here.
