Mods won't show up in Mod Menu even tho i put them in the mods folder

i installed fabric with iris and sodium and when i try to play with mods they just won't work, i put them into the mods folder and dont even show up on the mod menu, how do i fix this?

@lvrnaoko This is usually caused by using the Iris installer, which does not do a complete installation of Fabric. If you've used the Iris installer, you'll need to install Fabric before you can use other mods. https://docs.fabricmc.net/players/installing-fabric
