Grab Input

I have a love/hate relationship with Grab Input. It appears that the hot-key CTRL + G doesn't work properly on 4.0.0 or 4.0.1. Is there a way to turn off the feature?

No, there is no option to turn of the feature. But the behavior should be:

If The "Grab input" is enabled: all key strokes should be forwarded to the active connection
In full screen all key strokes should be forwarded
Ctrl+G enables the toggle if not enabled

Please consider this as a request to provide an option to disable 'grab input' by default.

This functionality (to be able to disable "Grab Input" definitely) is a must have for me. Please consider.
