Hot Key doesn't work

Open maheshbvv opened this issue 1 year ago • 6 comments

No action when Hotkey combination is used, to get data to paste, click on the list in the menu bar, then CMD+V to paste it. This makes the app obsolete.

Shift-Cmd-V seems to be working fine on my macOS Sequoia. What was needed is to visit Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Accessibility -> and make sure that Flycut is checked there (may need to use + to add the app if it's not on the list).

Normally, macOS offers that via an alert but it could become lost if too many things are happening on the desktop.

Same issue here. I tried the suggestion above but it didn't fix it for me

Apple disabled the use of option and shift keys in MacOS Sequoia [reference]. If you use these keys and started seeing this issue only after upgrade, please use an alternate key such as control or command for your shortcut. This resolved the issue for me

It works, Thanks! Please all note: it's not Settings -> Accessibility but as Deze wrote, Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Accessibility (you have to scroll all privacy&security settings, it's almost at the end), Then hit + and find Flycut.app.

Doing this, the paste will work!
