Insight Editor Issue: Donut chart not showing as a donut but expected it to

I'm having an issue while editing an insiqht.

The insight has a donut chart selected with granularity set to month. I expected this to be a donut chart just showing this month's results and not a bar chart that shows multiple years

Maybe this is a misunderstanding on my part, but I also can't find a way to see this month's data as a donut chart

The donut chart only works when you set the granularity to all. Otherwise it would have to show multiple donuts per month in your range.

I'm gathering that. Maybe this is more feedback around the editor then.

I would've either expected not to see it as an option or to only see data from this past month whether that month is the last 30 days or only the values for the current month.

Basically on a donut chart, I want to be able to see the last 30 days of my popular pages.
