Repeated messages in Announce Notifications

Description

Telegram repeats itself when messages come in and notifications are being announced. I don't know if this is something that is the fault of Telegram or iOS.

Expected Behavior

When two messages come in from Telegram from the same person:

1. I should hear the first message spoken.
2. When Siri says "also from ", it should not repeat the first message, and then the second.

Actual Behavior

Siri repeats the first message when saying "Also from "

Steps to Reproduce

1. Put AirPods in
2. Have "Announce notification" enabled in Settings
3. Receive two messages in Telegram with the iPhone in standby.

Environment

Device: iPhone 12 mini

iOS version: 15.3.1

App version: 8.5.1 (22882)

Since the issue is not present on other messaging apps (I tried WhatsApp and Signal so far), this does indeed seem to be a Telegram issue (still is, by the way).

My assumption is that announced messages are not properly marked as "read" and thus Siri reads them again when the next message arrives. I wonder how other apps handle this or whether there is a specific API for that (because I'd obviously also not want the message to be actually marked as if I had opened it in the app...)

This has been ongoing for so long and when you have friends who tend to split their message across n messages, you get n(n+1)/2 messages read...
