Can't use Clutstering with AWS EC2

Open EliteSalman opened this issue 2 months ago • 2 comments

Hi,

I tried to use clustering in EC2 but that's not possible cause EC2 Don’t provide Public IP Directly in EC2 instead they NAT Private IP with The Public IP. So in EC2 only shows the Private IP.

I found a blog in online about this, https://devopslearning.medium.com/why-you-only-see-a-private-ip-after-logging-into-ec2-even-if-it-has-a-public-ip-dbd6852e6c76

Technitium now have an option to allow specifying any IP for the cluster nodes. Try hardcoding the public address when creating/joining the cluster and see if it works for you

Thanks for asking. The latest update now has option to manually enter IP addresses so you can just enter the public IP address of the server there. The drop down list in there only lists IP addresses found on the system and its done just for convenience.
